Please note that all Recipes, Stories and Photos may appear on The Riant Theatre's website and may be published by the Riant Theatre/Strawberry Festival and distributed in other markets and media worldwide forever. Some recipes will be chosen for publication by The Riant Theatre's Strawberry Festival in New York City and 15 of the best recipes will be chosen as semi-finalists in which the entrants will be invited to make their desserts or beverages at the Strawberry Festival on Sunday, July 24, 2024 in New York City. Our judges will select 5 recipes as finalist and they will be invited to make their desserts or beverages for our Final Awards & Presentation of the Strawberry One-Act Festival on Sunday, August 28, 2024 at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre at Symphony Space, located at 2537 Broadway at 95th St. The winner of the Strawberry Dessert & Beverage Competition will receive a $500.00 cash reward.

You acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions when submitting any ideas, suggestions, recipes, materials, videotapes, photographs, etc. (hereinafter, the "Submissions"):

  1. The Submissions will be shared with the producers of The Riant Theatre's Strawberry One Act Festival.
  2. Neither The Riant Theatre, The Black Experimental Theatre, Inc. nor any of its affiliated companies or entities, including, but not limited to, The Strawberry One-Act Festival, are obligated to use your Submission or to pay you for any Submission.
  3. All Submissions shall become the property of The Riant Theatre and will not be subject to any obligation of confidentiality. The Riant Theatre, The Black Experiemental Theatre or any of it's officers shall not be liable for any use or disclosure to a third party of any of the Submissions.
  4. I confirm that I am the creator of the recipe being submitted for the Strawberry Recipe Competition and that I will not hold The Riant Theatre, The Black Experiemental Theatre, nor any of it's officers or other entities liable for any suit brought against me for submitting this recipe into the competition.
  5. The Riant Theatre shall exclusively own all known or later existing rights to the Submissions worldwide and shall be entitled to the unrestricted use of the Submissions for any purpose without compensation to the provider of Submissions.
  6. The Riant Theatre reserves the right to change due dates for Submissions, or other specifics, as it deems necessary in its sole discretion.
