Jocunda Music, Film & Theatre Festival NYC
We are currently accepting submissions in the following categories:
-
Films: Short Films, Narrative, Animation, and Music Videos;
- Singers: Hip Hop Artists, Jazz, Neo Soul & Pop; (singers send a link to your music and performances, a bio, jpeg photo of yourself) and

Theatre: Short plays and full-length plays. Plays accepted for the festival will be given the opportunity to have 10 pages from their play to be read in front of an audience that will include: Theatre Producers, Investors, Directors, Filmmakers and Actors and the general public To submit your work go to https://filmfreeway.com/JocundaMusicFilmandTheatreFestival.
Please include a cover letter explaining why you want to be in the festival and submit a bio telling us a little about yourself. Please include a link to any social media pages you have.

Fashion Designer send us at least 5 jpeg pictures of your collection and/or link to a video showing us your collection. If you are selected to show your collection at the festival, you will be able to show up to 10 designs in your collection. You will be given a Vendor's spot to sell your designs, and a business card size ad in our Festival Guide and promotion on social media. The Fee to Participate is $350.
Book writers, send us a 10 page excerpt from your book. If you are accepted into the festival you will be given a chance to read an excerpt at the show. You will be given a Vendor's spot to sell your books. You will receive a business card size ad in our Festival Guide and we will include the price of your book in the ticket price so people will have that plus 1 Drink to celebrate your book. So please include a jpeg cover of your book and the price. We will take a 20% commission on all books sold through us. Food Vendors & Vendors interested in a Vendor's spot, please email us the information about your business and the type of food you would be selling. (i.e.: Carribbean, Soul, Asian, Italian, Vegan, etc.). You must be licensed as a caterer.
Merchant Vendors please tell us about your business and what you plan to sell at the festival. Send jpeg photos of your merchandise and a photo of yourself. The Vendor's spot are $350. You will receive a business card size ad in our Festival Guide, Digital Promotion and a link to your business on our website.
