The Pioneer of the Arts Awards, Tribute Show & Panel Discussion
The Riant Theatre will present the Pioneer of the Arts Award to Broadway Producers, Stephen C. Byrd & Alia Jones-Harvey (Romeo and Juliet, Trip To Bountiful, Street Car Named Desire & Cat On A Hot Tin Roof).
The Pioneer of the Arts Award will also be presented to Lloyd Price (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) known as "Mr. Personality" for his hit song Personality, Lawdy Miss Clawdy & Stagger Lee. Currently a musical is being created based on Mr. Price's career.
The Pioneer of the Arts Award will honor Jeff Madoff, Founder of Madoff Productions, based in NYC. Mr. Madoff produces and directors Films, Documentaries & Commercials (Victoria's Secret).
A Panel Discussion will follow the Awards presentation and Tribute Show.
Theme: Living The Dream
Also on the panel will be Ellyn Long Marshall & Maria E. Nelson, Casting Directors from Orpheus Group Casting.
Awards Show at 6:45pm - Suggested Donation: $27; After February 2nd: $32

This year's recipient of the Youth Empowerment Award is Ashton Pina, a college student, who received a scholarship of $2,500 to complete his thesis film The Brothers Texas.
